Womens Day Celebration

Women’s day was celebrated at St Agnes PU College in a very special way. The ladies were welcomed to the collegeblissfully. The programme began with a prayer.
MrAshwin welcomed the gathering with aneloquent quotewhich cheered up the women.
Fun filled games and many activities were conducted and prizes were distributed by Principal SrNorine D’Souza to the winners. Mr. Joel sang a melodious song
dedicated to women. Beautiful gifts were presented to the women staff of the college.
The programme was compered by Mr Mathew and Mrs Anita Shenoyproposed the vote of thanks.

Evaluation 2022
• Artistique class was organised for the first and second year students of Humanities on every Wednesday and Friday
• An outreach program organised to St Antony ashram Jeppu on Students of Humanities collected Rs 9000 and contributed a wheelchair and soaps to the inmates
• The department of Humanities organised a session on life skills for the students of second Hepp on August 04 2022
• Mrs.Vinatha K of St Agnes College Mangaluru was the resource person
• In the district level youth parliament competition held on 14 November 2022 Alisha Thimmiah won the first place as Speaker and selected for state level.
In state level youth parliament competition Alisha T won the fourth place held on 30 November 2022 in Bengaluru
• Certificate distribution program of Artistique an add on course was held on
• Notice board was presented artistically under the guidance of Mrs.OliviaPatrao
• C Sat classes were organised
• Remedial classes were conducted for both first and second Hepp students
• Constant motivation was given to meritorious students with time management tips and presentation of answers

The following points to be discussed in departments
Suggest any five initiatives to train students in analytical way of thinking and technique to implement them (keeping in mind NEP)
• Giving few analytical, reasoning and logical based questions to students
• Techniques to implement
-Seminar presentation
-Power point presentation
-Group discussion and presentation

What could be done to strengthen the mentoring system and train our staff members to enhance academic, psychological and career mentoring of our students?
• Students do not open up with senior staff members.Usually they share their problems with junior staff .So junior staff members can be trained for mentoring.

How can we still more creatively integrate vision and mission of our college in academics and extracurricular activities?
• Let every staff and students should practice the vision and mission of the institution
• Greetings
• Respect to prayer (let them stand wherever they are during prayer and national anthem)
• These values should be taught in moral science and cathecism classes.

The Alumna /ae is the face our institution and our vision in the larger society.How do we make our Alumni association more active and vibrant?
• Evening D.J with Alumni celebrity followed by grand dinner .

Any suggestions to improve activities like clubs,AGNATHON, sports/college day/student's day?
• Clubs _clubs should be optional for students
• Should be more organised and modified
• Teachers also should be given an given an option to select the club
• No of students should be limited
• Professional dancers can be called for blazing stars

College day -
• Good refreshments can be given during all the three days of rehersal.
• Checking should there near the entrance with proper pass/invitation
• Proper street lights should be provided including near the canteen
• Sports day
• Refreshments and can be given for those who involved in marking duty

How can we improve upon disciplinary actions and create still a better atmosphere in the campus?
• Strict action should be taken
