AGNOSPHERE

 

We treasure the memories of students who have been groomed in our esteemed institution. The purpose of our alumni association is to provide a forum for Agnesians who have made a mark for themselves and made significant contributions in various walks of life. The association gives them an opportunity to stay connected to their alma mater. The mission is to fashion a vibrant community of alumni and to engage them in shaping the future of the institute and to serve as a springboard to enhance and forge strong bonds between the alumni, management, staff and students that will leave a lasting legacy.

St Agnes PU College, here recently held their second alumni meet at the college auditorium.

230 alumni attended the meet. The programme commenced by invoking God’s blessings through a prayer hymn.

Sr Shamita AC, principal of St Agnes PU College warmly welcomed the former Agnesians.

CA Daphny Stella D’souza, alumna of 2007 batch, presided over the function. She is a practicing CA who also trains CA Foundation and IPUC students in preparation for their exams.

In her presidential address, she expressed her indebtedness to her alma mater for her remarkable achievements. Her message to all former Agnesians was to never give up their dreams to be brand ambassadors of their alma mater.

‘College is the place where you live your life to the fullest’

    To reminisce about good memories of college life, St Agnes PU College under the aegis of ‘Agnosphere’- an association of Alumni organised Alumni Meet on July 6th, 2019 in the college Auditorium. The programme commenced by invoking God’s blessings through a visual prayer song. Sr Norine DSouza, Principal of St Agnes PU College warmly welcomed the former Agnesians.

Proud Alumna of the 2005 batch , St Agnes PU College Mrs Vathika Pai, a young entrepreneur, owner of Vathika International Travels presided over the function. In her presidential address, she thanked the management for providing a platform for holistic development of every individual studying here. Her message to all former Agnesians was to never give up their dreams.

In the felicitation programme for the alumni achievers, Dr Hafsa Eram- currently pursuing MD in dermatology was felicitated by Dr P V Shobha, CA Sanchitha Kamath was felicitated by Mrs Pragati, MeghanaBallal – Advocate was felicitated by Mrs Namitha for their remarkable achievement. Ms Jeswita Quadros who has represented India at the 11th International Forum Post Syndol Meet in June 2019 was felicitated by Mrs Supriya.

Vice-Principal Sr Janet Sequeira , co-convenor of the programme Mrs Venitia Rasquinha, Alumni-core committee member Divyanjalin, were also present on the occasion. There was a short entertainment programme by both the present students as well as the Alumni. The programme was compered by Ms MansiLisha Pinto.

The alumni were grateful to their alma mater for organising this meet. The evening closed with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms Chris Miranda. The programme was concluded with a mass dance which helped revive happy memories & the alumni returned home with a feeling of nostalgia.

Alumni of St Agnes PU College brings laurels

St Agnes PU College congratulates Miss Nisha(2017-19) on her achievement at the Asian Continental Rope Skipping Championship held at Nonthaburi, Thailand from 19th July to 21st July 2019. She has bagged the Silver Medal in Single Rope Speed Relay and Double Dutch Free Style and Bronze Medal in Double Dutch Speed Relay. She has made her country and alma mater proud. We wish her good luck and hope that she soon reaches the zenith of success.
