“All superheroes are differently – abled and all differently-abled are superheroes”

Under the aegis of ‘Aastha Club’ students from I PUC & II PUC Arts stream, along with five staff members of St Agnes PU College visited St Agnes Special School, and Vocational Training Centre on Friday 26th July 2019 in the morning.

The mission was to sensitize the students on the special needs of the specially- abled persons.
The students interacted for about Three hours with the specially- abled by treating them as they treat their other abled friends. There were students of different age groups with different abilities who were initially trained for basic skills and then to read and write by the teachers of the school.

The children joined our students in singing and dancing. Our students were inspired by their extra abilities and were happy to explore their lives.

We are thankful to the Principal of the school for giving us this opportunity. All human beings have something special within us and some weaknesses too and so do specially-abled people.
